Back in 1994 Sara and her husband Walter Cooke founded the Academy of Inner Wisdom as an umbrella organization for Sara's channeling and other spiritual projects. It is the official sponsor of this website and occasionally still sponsors workshops on meditation, writing practice and The Work of Byron Katie.

The Academy of Inner Wisdom is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit educational organization whose purpose is to promote the development of knowledge of the true nature of the self. We do this by sponsoring workshops in the Seattle, Washington area and by publishing this web site.
